Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners 1 Timothy 1:15

No doubt you receive a lot of mail through your letterbox and into your email inbox, but please take the time to read our Christmas message.
Over 2,000 years ago God sent His Son, the Lord Jesus, into the world to be the Saviour of mankind; and He made an offer "that whosoever calls upon Him shall be saved". The good news is that the offer is still available to us today.
Why do we need to be saved?
Because of our sin we have become separated from God, who made us and loves us. So God sent His Son to remedy this situation for those who will accept His offer. The Bible says:- "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". Romans 3:23. "For there is none who does good, there is not even one." Romans 3:12.
How much will it cost?
The price is so great that you could never afford it! But the good news that is brought to us in the Bible is that salvation is offered to us as a free gift. "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
If we repent of our sins and believe on the Lord Jesus we are saved at once - forgiven and reconciled to God.
Although God has kept this offer open for over 2,000 years, the Bible is quite clear that the time for making a decision to accept Christ as our Saviour is NOW. God has said that He will judge the world and we can be certain that He will keep His word. "Now is the acceptable time, behold now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2
Take time to think about your personal relationship with God. Reflect upon the Baby of Bethlehem who became the Christ of the Cross, and who is now the risen exalted Lord. Call on Him for salvation, for "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10.13.
